Y5 & 6 learn about the Norman Conquest

We were invited to Pinewood School for a History workshop to learn about Saxon warfare and the famous events at Stamford Bridge & Hastings. We were able to hold shields, swords, an axe, chainmail, helmets and more.

History teaching offers opportunities to:
